I am a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist specialising in Women’s Health and Fertility.
Welcome, I’m Hannah!
I’m so glad you’ve found me.
I offer personalised, evidence-based nutritional support for women and couples looking to optimise their hormonal health and fertility.
Each fertility journey is unique and I take the time to truly understand your story. Whether you’re trying to conceive naturally, preparing for or undergoing IVF, recovering from pregnancy loss, or navigating hormonal imbalances - you don’t have to do this alone.
Having walked this path myself, I understand the emotional and physical challenges it can bring- from feeling overwhelmed, isolated, heartbroken and unclear how to move forward.
My approach is science-led with a holistic perspective using functional testing to gain important insights - from there we can make targeted dietary and lifestyle changes to regain balance, empowering you to move forward and build strong foundations for creating a new life.
‘We now understand the power of nutritional and lifestyle adaptations in preconception and how this influences chances of success’.
The Physiology of Fertility.
Fertility is a whole-body process, many body systems are involved, it’s not just about the reproductive organs. Hormones, gut health, thyroid function, immune balance, stress and blood sugar regulation all influence your ability to conceive and maintain a healthy pregnancy. As a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, I take a root-cause approach, looking beyond symptoms to understand how these systems interact and where imbalances may lie.
Creating the Foundations for Conception.
It takes three months to produce a batch of sperm and to mature an egg - this is when we can make meaningful changes to fertility outcomes.
Through personalised nutrition and lifestyle support, we work to rebalance hormones, improve egg and sperm quality, enhance nutrient status, and reduce inflammation — creating the best possible environment for conception and long-term reproductive wellbeing.
What We Can Work On Together.
-
Preconception is a valuable opportunity to support your health ahead of trying to conceive.
We will explore all angles which may be influencing your fertility and reproductive health — helping you to better understand your body and feel more prepared as you move towards conception.
-
Ensuring the right levels of hormones at the right time in the cycle and exploring potential drivers of symptoms - including irregular cycles, PMS and hormone-related conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis and fibroids.
-
The thyroid produces hormones that are essential for regulating metabolism, energy production, and the menstrual cycle - directly influencing ovulation, egg quality, and successful implantation.
The underlying drivers from stress, autoimmune or nutrient deficiencies must be addressed to optimise function.
-
Undertaking assisted reproductive treatment such as IVF/ICSI can be an emotionally, physically and financially demanding time.
Working with a fertility expert can support you in the lead-up to and during treatment — with a focus on egg and sperm health, hormonal balance and the wider factors that may influence your fertility.
By taking the time to prepare your body and better understand your individual needs you are giving yourself the best chance of success.
-
Gut health plays a key role in hormone regulation, inflammation and the absorption of nutrients essential for fertility, including those involved in egg and sperm health.
Disruptions to gut function or the microbiome may influence hormonal balance, immune activity and how effectively nutrients are absorbed and utilised.
-
The liver has a crucial role in fertility by metabolising excess hormones, environmental toxins and regulating blood sugar.
Care will be taken to understand your individual needs to support these processes at this time.
-
The reproductive microbiome refers to the community of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses) residing in the reproductive tract- including the vagina, cervix, uterus and semen.
Studies show that the microbiome influences fertility by regulating inflammation, egg quality, embryo implantation as well as healthy semen parameters for the male partner.
-
Making a baby takes two and while much focus historically has been on the female partner research shows that 40-50% of sub-fertility is due to male factor.
When working with a couple- testing, diet, lifestyle will be recommended to the male also - as sperm renews every 3 months, this is a valuable area to optimise!
-
Pregnancy nutrition is foundational for foetal development and maternal health, directly influencing organ formation, cognitive growth, and long-term health.
Postnatally there are many demands on the body through breastfeeding, sleep deprivation and adjusting to life as parents - support at this time can be invaluable.
