The Physiology of Fertility.

Fertility is a whole-body process, many body systems are involved, it’s not just about the reproductive organs. Hormones, gut health, thyroid function, immune balance, stress and blood sugar regulation all influence your ability to conceive and maintain a healthy pregnancy. As a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, I take a root-cause approach, looking beyond symptoms to understand how these systems interact and where imbalances may lie.

It takes three months to produce a batch of sperm and to mature an egg - this is when we can make meaningful changes to fertility outcomes.
